1. Information we collect

• Account: your email address, and (if you use Google sign-in) basic profile info Google returns.
• Create-form inputs: the character description, situation, location, style and theme you enter.
• Generated images: watermarked previews and, after payment, the final image.
• Payment metadata: processed by Stripe. We store order status and amounts; we do not store your full card number.
• Sharing details: recipient address for relay sends (stored encrypted), share links, and any social handles you choose to tag.
• Technical logs: request and event logs with a trace ID, timestamps, and outcomes, used for security and debugging.

2. How we use information

To create and deliver your cartoons, process payments, operate anonymized relay messaging, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms, debug and secure the Service, and — only if you make a cartoon public — display it in the gallery.

3. Service providers we share with

We share data only as needed with processors that help us run the Service:

• OpenAI — receives your prompt text to generate images.
• Stripe — processes payments.
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — stores image files.
• Mailgun — sends sign-in and relay email.
• Google — if you choose Google sign-in.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your age confirmation for the visit. These are necessary for the Service to function.

5. Security and retention

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, and sensitive values such as relay email addresses are encrypted at rest. Image bytes live in object storage, not in our database. We keep request and event logs for a limited retention window and then delete them; account and order records are kept as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

6. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal limits. Email us and we’ll respond. Deleting your account removes your profile; some records may be retained where required.

7. Children

The Service is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
